The Conference Dinner will take place at the Venue, the Orthodox Academy of Crete, at the main square in front of the sea! Cretan delicacies, cretan music and dances!

Excursion 1: Falassarna Beach
Falassarna is a beautiful, well-known beach in Crete. Its crystal turquoise and greenish waters and white and sand compose a picturesque landscape and create an overall magical experience. It is located at Gramvoussa,15 km from Kissamos, and its coastline is 3 km long. It is separated into 5 beaches, divided by rocks or dunes, with two out of the five gathering the largest crowds. Additionally, the many different parts of the coast have been given various names by the locals, such as Bourouni, Kalami and Agia Paraskevi.

Excursion 2: Archaeological Museum and Chania Town
We start with a visit to the well-known Tombs of Venizelos Family. On the historic Prophet Ilias, where the homonym chapel is located, the signs from the battles of the Cretan Revolution are quite evident. The tombs of Eleftherios Venizelos, one of the greatest personalities in the History of modern Greece, and the tomb of his son, Sofoklis, are located in this historical place. Last but not least, the spectacular view of the city is an additional reason for visiting this site.
We close this nice tour with a visit to the Archaeological Museum of Chania which opened its doors to the public on 16 April 2022 at its new premises in the suburb of Chalepa, the second most historic part of Chania after the Venetian Old Town.

A bus transfer is organized on the 7^th of September at 14.00 in the afternoon from the village of Archanes to Chania city and Kolymvari area (where the conference will be held).
